  • "Defining Purpose through Presence,
    Acceptance and Authenticity"

    Welcome!

Secure, Online Counseling for Pennsylvania and Florida Residents

Thank you for visiting my website. The search for a counselor/therapist can be overwhelming. I aim to present a clear and comprehensive picture of my services and approach to therapy. I strive to create an environment where my clients feel accepted, safe, and understood. You are the expert in your life. My job is to make sure that you are utilizing all your expertise.

“The voice in the head has a life of its own.  Most people are at the mercy of that voice; they are possessed by thought and by the mind.  Since the mind is conditioned by the past, you are then forced to reenact the past again and again.”  This quote by Eckhart Tolle is at the core of my belief in what troubles most of us.  We live in our minds, incessantly thinking about our fears, failings, troubled relationships, losses, and shortcomings.  We spend too much time with these thoughts and the accompanying feelings.  The trouble is that when we treat our thoughts and feelings as facts, we allow anxiety, doubt, sadness, hopelessness, and self-loathing to take hold and thrive.  I utilize a combination of strategies to help combat the nuisance voice in the head.  The key goal is to get out of your mind and back into living your life with passion and a sense of purpose.  I also like to focus on breaking the unhelpful coping patterns that may have been established years ago.  Kindness and compassion are my fundamental values.

You are not alone.  I specialize in assisting those who are uncertain of what they need from life.  Learn ways to manage your discomfort so that you can begin to focus on what is truly important to you.

The best time to consider counseling is when troubled thinking or behaviors affect your daily living; jobs, friendships, family, and intimate relationships. For some, these issues may be longstanding patterns that began years ago. For others, sudden changes such as a loss, crisis, trauma, or addiction can trigger unfamiliar feelings that paralyze your ability to get through the day.
