About Me
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor providing online therapy for adults in Scranton/NEPA and all of Pennsylvania.
I’ve been working in the counseling field for over twenty years, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, identity, and life transitions. My experience includes working with a wide range of populations, including autism, developmental disabilities, and individuals within the LGBTQ+ community.
But my path into this work wasn’t only professional—it was personal.
My own experiences with anxiety and depression shaped how I understand what it means to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of yourself. Because of that, I approach therapy with a strong sense of empathy and respect for how complex these experiences can be.
What it’s like to work with me
Clients often come to me feeling:
- Mentally overloaded or stuck in their thoughts
- Unsure of themselves or their direction
- Tired of trying to manage things on their own
In our work together, I focus on creating a space that feels:
- Grounded and non-judgmental
- Conversational and collaborative
- Focused on helping you better understand yourself
My goal isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to help you make sense of your experiences in a way that leads to real, sustainable change.
My background
I hold a Master of Science degree in Counseling, and possess a certification as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have also completed advanced graduate study in counseling at the University of Scranton and hold certifications in trauma and telebehavioral health.
Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including:
- Mental health counseling
- Vocational rehabilitation
- Crisis intervention
- Work with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
This range of experience allows me to bring both perspective and flexibility into the work we do together.
A more personal note
I’m particularly drawn to working with individuals who feel different, overwhelmed, or like they’ve had to adapt to others for a long time.
If that resonates with you, therapy can be a place where you don’t have to do that.
