About Paul (He/Him/His)

Paul was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania. A graduate from Bishop Hannan High School, Paul went on to complete a double major in music and psychology from Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre, PA. Paul’s struggle with depression and anxiety is what inspired him to want to help and work with others. He believes that this personal experience provides him with an increased level of empathy and understanding when working with his clients.Paul is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Paul has also earned a certificate of advanced graduate study in counseling from The University of Scranton and possesses a nationally recognized certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). He is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and holds a certification as an Advanced TBHI Telebehavioral Health Practioner. Paul is proud to have over twenty-four years of experience working with various populations, including; developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, mental health disorders, physical disabilities, career choices, child behavioral issues, couples, vocational rehabilitation, addiction, the LGBTQ community, and crisis intervention.

American Counseling Association, Pennsylvania Counseling Association, SAIGE, Northeast Pennsylvania Counseling Association, and The American Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Issues in Counseling.
