LGBTQ+ Counseling

I know that there are very competent, straight, cis-gendered therapists out there, but the mental health needs of the gay community can be specific and nuanced. If you are dealing with issues specific to your sexual orientation, sexuality, and gender, then your therapist should have lived experience.   Self-compassion and self-acceptance are key.  Paul is a proud member of the gay community and has helped countless men work through issues such as;

  • Dating
  • Coming Out
  • Internalized Homophobia
  • Navigating Polyamory or non-monogamous relationships
  • Relationship Issues
  • Sexuality
  • Gender Identity Issues
  • Transitioning
  • Addiction and Recovery

To better serve those in rural areas, Paul is proud to offer distance counseling within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Please contact the office to obtain more information about video sessions and the types of insurance plans that cover such services.
